RECEPTIONIST/ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to fill the role of Receptionist/Administrative Assistant. In this position, you will be the first point of contact for our company, providing exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while also assisting with various administrative tasks to support our daily operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome visitors with warmth and professionalism, creating a positive first impression.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls and emails promptly and efficiently, ensuring inquiries are directed to the appropriate person or department.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring it is welcoming and presentable at all times.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Provide administrative support to various departments, including typing, filing, photocopying, and data entry.
  • Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and presentations as needed.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and reorder supplies as necessary.
  • Assist with organizing company events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by management.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration or related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance from Pro-Line Fittings headquarters in Surrey/Langley city border.

INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

We are looking for a motivated and well-spoken inside sales representative to join our sales team. The inside sales representative will be responsible for developing new leads, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process. You should be able to close sales and meet targets.

To be successful as an inside sales representative you should be able to build instant rapport and achieve customer satisfaction. A top inside sales representative should also be very competitive and a good listener.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicating with customers, answer inbound calls from potential customers, process orders, and following up on leads and questions.
  • Understanding the customers’ needs and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Answering potential customers’ questions and sending additional information per email.
  • Keeping up with product and service information and updates.
  • Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers.
  • Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services.
  • Staying informed about competing products and services.
  • Upselling products and services.
  • Researching and qualifying new leads.
  • Closing sales and achieving sales targets.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Previous experience in the waterworks industry a plus, and or a related sales position preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Sage50, CRM software such as HubSpot.

OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Pro-Line Fittings Canada is a solutions company that specializes in the manufacture and distribution of a variety of municipal waterworks products delivered with industry leading customer service. Pro-Line’s team are pioneers in the PVC Pipe Fitting Industry and have deployed decades of knowledge to continuously improve and innovate our products and processes. Pro-Line Fittings is involved with community development and is a protector of water resources. We can be found most prominently in municipal collection systems, wastewater treatment facilities, water distribution systems and water treatment plants. We also manufacture and distribute product solutions for the agriculture, industrial, aquaculture & health care markets.

Pro-Line is currently seeking an entrepreneurial Outside Sales Representative to develop business in British Columbia.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable to achieve sales revenue and gross margin objectives within the assigned territory
  • Obtain municipal and engineering product approvals for manufactured and distributed products
  • Establish and develop a reliable distribution network of Pro-Line Fittings core products within key regions of the defined territory
  • Research and understand target customers & influencers, schedule appointments, develop rapport, and utilise a consultative approach to solve problems and secure business
  • Emphasize product features based on analysis of customer needs and technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations
  • Understand each person’s role within a prospective account and how they impact decision making, as well as who the final decision makers are within the client organization
  • Identify prospective customers and create new opportunities through active listening, investigation, and strategy
  • Follow leads, participate in industry organizations and clubs, and attend trade shows and conferences
  • Demonstrate leadership and skill through collaboration with colleagues on selling strategies and market information
  • Must provide excellent after sales support and respond to customer inquiries and complaints quickly and effectively
  • Adapt, tailor, and exude your total value proposition as an ambassador of Pro-Line Fittings
  • Home office-based position with extensive travel required, mostly by automobile

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must be able to close a sale and be passionate about results
  • Excellent computer skills, professional use of social media, sound knowledge MS Suites, & Zoom
  • Creative and divergent thinker with a possibility mindset and loads of determination

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of sales and customer service experience
  • Experience in technical sales with an understanding of engineering or selling an engineered product preferred
  • A valid driver’s license and passport required; with a willingness to travel
  • A degree or diploma in commerce or engineering preferred
